Stymie has been teaching yoga in Japan since 1998 and has been leading teacher trainings and workshops for Yoga Works in the US and internationally since 2005.

After graduating university, Brett came to Japan in 2000 and began studying with Stymie in 2001. He currently teaches vinyasa flow and yoga for seniors and is a Manduka Ambassador.

Alicia took her first yoga class when she was 16, but it wasn’t until a serious back injury in 1995 that she turned to yoga as the only form of physical therapy and healing. Her main studies have been in the Iyengar tradition both in Northern California (Piedmont Yoga School), and Rishakesh, India, where she did extensive study with Rudra Dev, a Senior Iyengar teacher. Alicia’s teachings draw upon her varied experiences as a runner, cyclist, meditation practitioner, acupuncturist and Chinese herbal nutritionist. Alicia has been teaching yoga since 1994 and has been leading teacher training for Yoga Works in the US and internationally since 2007.
